Step 2: Complete Your Profile Setup
When you first open Kaloria, you'll go through a quick setup to personalize your experience. Here's what to expect:
Choose Your Language
Select from 50+ languages. Don't worry—you can change this anytime in settings!
Enter Your Name
Kaloria will use your name to personalize greetings and Kalo AI conversations.
Set Your Goal
Choose:Lose Weight,Maintain Weight, orGain Weight. This determines your calorie calculations.
Basic Information
Enter your: Gender, Age (use the slider), Current Weight, Goal Weight, and Height. Switch between metric (kg/cm) and imperial (lbs/ft) with the toggle.
Activity Level
Select how active you are:
- Sedentary- Little to no exercise, desk job
- Lightly Active- Light exercise 1-3 days/week
- Moderately Active- Moderate exercise 3-5 days/week
- Very Active- Hard exercise 6-7 days/week
- Extremely Active- Athlete or physical job

See Your Personalized Goals
Kaloria calculates your daily calorie target and macro breakdown based on all your information. You'll see: Daily Calories, Protein goal, Carbs goal, and Fat goal!

Step 3: Scan Your First Meal 📸
Now the fun part—using AI to track your food effortlessly!
Tap the Camera Icon
From your home screen, tap the bigcamera iconin the center of the bottom navigation bar.
Point & Shoot
Position your food in the scanning frame. Make sure the lighting is good and the entire meal is visible. Tap the white capture button!
Watch the Magic
The AI analyzes your photo (3-5 seconds). You'll see "Analyzing with AI..." with an animation. No need to do anything—just wait!
Review Results
The results panel slides up showing what the AI found: food name, calories, protein, carbs, fat, and ingredients. Pretty cool, right?
Add to Journal
Tap"Add to [Meal Type]"at the bottom. Done! Your meal is saved and counts toward your daily goals. You'll see a success message.

Nutrition Rings
Colored progress rings showing calories, protein, carbs, and fat for TODAY. Your logged meal already appears here!
Meal Quick-Access Grid
4 cards for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snack. Each shows calorie totals and recent photos. Tap any card to view that meal section in your journal.
Kalo AI Widget
Your AI nutrition coach automatically generates insights based on your recent meals. Tap to open full chat!
Quick Actions (Top Right)
Icons for sharing achievements, logging weight, and tracking water. One-tap access to essential features!

Don't worry about hitting goals yet—just get comfortable with scanning meals and building the habit.
Pay attention to the nutrition rings. Try to stay within your calorie target. Ask Kalo AI for tips if you're struggling!
Use Recent Meals to duplicate favorites, track water daily, log your weight, and check Analytics to see your first week's progress!
Log at least one meal every day to build your day streak. You'll see it in Analytics. There's something magical about watching "1 day" become "7 days" become "30 days"—it's proof of your commitment!
